Welcome!

Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find everything you want to know about St Richard's. Worried about fitting in? Don’t be. At St Richard’s you’ll find a wide variety of people, of all ages and from different backgrounds. You certainly don’t have to be Christian to come along and there are activities to suit everyone!

Our wish is to encourage you to grow closer to God and develop a personal relationship with Jesus, something we do together, because “OUR CHURCH IS A FAMILY NOT JUST A BUILDING.”

We would love to get to know you better. Please give Trish Scobell a call at the church office on 01892 611318 or email  strichardsoffice@gmail.com if you would like us to contact you.

Where & when does the church meet?

Our Church meets every Sunday at 10.45am. There is limited parking outside the church for those with poor mobility or who have small children. Alternatively there is ample parking on the roads around.

You can see a map on our contact us page

What should I expect when I visit St Richard's?

You should expect a very warm welcome! As a small church family it is easier to get to know one another. The service usually lasts for just over an hour, during which we pray, sing and learn from God's word together. Words for songs and anything else we need are displayed on screens at the front.

Refreshments are served after the service, where there is plenty of time to meet new people, share lives, and chat about some of the things we’ve seen and heard during our service.

What about children and young people?

We have a fantastic programme for children and young people, including a crèche and Sunday Club for age-appropriate teaching and fun!

Children stay with their parents at the start of the service before heading out to their groups a little later. You will need to go with your children to notify the leaders the first time they attend.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them.

Please feel free to contact us.
